Established in the 1980, the BILD Awards recognize excellence and innovation in the design, construction, sales and marketing of new homes in the Greater Toronto Area. The Awards are presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association.
The myriad of awards celebrate all phases of bringing a new community to life from land use to technical suite design to creative marketing techniques. The Association also presents prestigious Pinnacle Awards such as Home Builder of the Year for both mid/high-rise builders, and surveys new homeowners as part of the judging process. Special accolades are also presented to members for humanitarian and philanthropic efforts and a Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon a member who has spent their life building homes, office and recreation spaces in the GTA.
All companies featured at the BILD Awards are members in good standing of the Association. Nominations are submitted by any member organization and entries are evaluated by impartial expert judges. Winners are announced at an exclusive gala every spring.
